Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NICU - Cardiopulmonary (Nights)

About the role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs cardiopulmonary duties according to hospital policy and procedure under general supervision. Responsibilities include administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This role requires a high level of customer service and active participation in continuous quality improvement processes. Serves as a resource to other employees.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
• One year of related experience
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures
• At least 1 year of Level III NICU experience (either with Tanner or at another Level III NICU facility)

Qualifications

• Must attend S.T.A.B.L.E. baby course within 18 months of employment
• Must become certified in NRP, PALS, and ACLS within 10 months of employment
