About the role
The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs cardiopulmonary duties in accordance with hospital policy and procedure under general supervision. Responsibilities include administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will uphold a high standard of customer service and actively participate in continuous quality improvement processes while serving as a resource to other employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of related experience
- Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
Qualifications
- ACLS Certification
- Healthcare Provider (CPR)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (certification required within 8 months of employment)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Care Professional
