Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document care with consideration of age and population-specific needs.
  • May serve as Lead RCP, responsible for the section or department during a shift.

Qualifications

  • Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintained.
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate preferred.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of acute care experience preferred.

Pay

The current compensation range for this role is $43.50 to $60.22 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
