About the role
Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Schedule
Shift: Nights (1800-0630)
Job Type: Part Time
Hours: 4 shifts per two-week pay period. Some weekends required.
Responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic testing of the cardio-pulmonary system
- Performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
- RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) CA State licensure
- CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Pay
$31.35 - $42.14 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Desert Care Network serves the healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin regions in Southern California with three hospitals: Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, and Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. The hospital network provides advanced care with services such as comprehensive stroke care, a cancer center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and the only Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Coachella Valley.
