Job Description
Clinical Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: New Hyde Park, NY
Days/Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Mon-Fri between 8:00am - 6:00pm
Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
What You'll Do
- Collaborate 1-on-1 with the Pulmonologist to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients with asthma, COPD, and pulmonary fibrosis
- Manage the practice’s PFT lab, ensuring high-quality data for spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion studies
- Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries regarding their respiratory health, medications, and home equipment
- Assist in-office with specialized procedures and coordinate with home health vendors for oxygen and PAP therapy setup
- Manage the scheduling and flow of respiratory-specific appointments to ensure a seamless patient experience

What We're Looking For
- Must have a valid NYS Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Someone with a warm, professional demeanor who can make patients feel at ease
- Ability to manage the lab and patient education with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with EMR documentation and modern diagnostic software
