Role Summary Provides specialized respiratory care by assessing patients, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, and administering medications. Functions as a clinical resource, offering patient and family education, and demonstrating clinical leadership. Supports healthcare delivery improvement and participates in ongoing learning. Responsibilities Include Patient assessment and care planningImplementation and evaluation of care plansMedication administration as prescribedPatient, family, and caregiver educationCollaborating with healthcare team membersProviding clinical leadership and supporting continuous learningCompleting assigned goals Qualifications And Skills Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing)Associates in Applied Sciences in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientationBasic computer skills (Windows, MS Office)Licenses and certifications: RRT, BLS (within 14 days of hire), and licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (Mississippi). ACLS preferred.
