Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary

About the Role

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders, supporting improved patient outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform all standard respiratory therapy duties, including ventilator management, advanced airway care, and high-frequency ventilation.
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures, monitor anesthesia, and deliver IV conscious sedation.
• Initiate and oversee nitric oxide and surfactant delivery, and attend high-risk deliveries in NICU.
• Support optional procedures like transport, intubation, and backup charge therapy.
• Adhere to departmental policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and NBRC registration.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in NM.
• Current BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications.
• Critical care experience preferred.
