Registered Respiratory Therapist-PRN
About the role
Our Respiratory Therapists (RT) work closely with our patients to evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders ranging in modalities and demographics. We collaborate with various different entities in the hospital setting including nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support.
Responsibilities
- Assists with bronchoscopies
- Collaborates with various healthcare professionals in the hospital setting
- Works independently in a 10 hour PRN position, Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana
- Graduation from a CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program
- N.B.R.C. registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire date
- Healthcare Provider Certification
- Prior ICU experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with confidential patient information
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR

- Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBR) Registry Exam
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Respiratory Therapy (RT) Certification

Schedule
