Registered Respiratory Therapist - PRN

About the role

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, helping improve their outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced airway care, ventilator management, and assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and intubation.
• Monitor and deliver therapies such as Nitric Oxide and surfactant in NICU settings.
• Support physicians during high-risk deliveries and critical care situations.
• Maintain proficiency in department-specific duties and optional procedures like transport and backup roles.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NBRC certification and Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• BLS, ACLS/PALS certifications
• Critical care experience preferred
• Strong technical, assessment, and patient care skills
