Registered Respiratory Therapist (Part Time, Days)

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality care to patients.
• Adequately adheres to regulatory standards such as JCAHO, Department of Health, and CAP.
• Assumes all patient/customer respiratory responsibilities.
• Follows the organization’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performs all age-specific respiratory therapies.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Knowledge of Performance Indicators and ensures exceeding results.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
• Certified or Registered status in accordance with requirements of National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Required) within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required) within 6 months of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience: 1+ years Experience in Critical Care NICU and Pediatric experience.
