Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

About the role

Full-time night shift position providing critical respiratory care in both adult and neonatal settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and deliver general and critical care respiratory procedures
• Provide specialized respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
• Conduct blood gas analysis and interpret results
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous experience in neonatal respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation with competencies validation
• Required licenses and certifications: RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS, all obtained upon hire

Skills

• Strong assessment and critical care skills
• Knowledge of neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures
• Excellent patient and family education abilities
