Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

About the role

This role involves leading and overseeing daily operations during a night shift in a healthcare setting, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and facilitate communication
• Assign patient workloads
• Support onboarding and training of team members
• Maintain and oversee equipment
• Promote and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Provide direct patient care
• Assist with data collection for process improvement
• Support customer service, safety, and quality efforts
• Evaluate staff performance
• Maintain educational records
• Ensure compliance with policies to deliver high-standard respiratory care

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas
