Respiratory Therapist II responsible for administering respiratory care, medication, and managing complex patient cases, primarily in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment, ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling
• Delivers patient education and collaborates with healthcare teams
• Mentors staff and students
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensures safe, evidence-based care
• Promotes accurate documentation and electronic order processes

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NBRC-RRT and RCP certifications required
• Minimum of 0-2 years clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required upon hire
