Registered Respiratory Therapist II

About the role

Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT II). Under supervision, you will assess patients with cardiopulmonary conditions and recommend appropriate treatments, administering advanced therapies such as medical gas therapy, bronchial hygiene, mechanical ventilation, emergency resuscitation, and airway management. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and recommending treatments for respiratory conditions
• Operating and maintaining ventilators, HFOV, aerosolized medication systems, and airway devices
• Participating in patient care and safety protocols
• Mentoring new staff and contributing to hospital committees

Requirements

• Minimum of two years critical care experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Maryland State License
• BLS certification; ACLS and NBRC ACCS preferred
• Proficiency in respiratory equipment and emergency procedures
