About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas.
• Manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and conduct arterial blood gas analysis.
• Tailor patient education to meet the specific needs of the patient population.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, mentor staff and students, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills.
• Show proficiency in electronic documentation and medical procedures.
• Hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Be NBRC-RRT certified.
• Have other relevant licenses such as BLS and ACLS.
• Have prior 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care.
