Registered Respiratory Therapist II
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus for Respiratory Therapists. Eligible candidates are hired into a full or part-time position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
The Respiratory Therapist II role provides independent, high-quality respiratory care across a variety of clinical settings and patient populations. Independently applies clinical knowledge in most practice settings and can demonstrate clinical reasoning and decision-making. Able to assess patients, develop and adjust respiratory care plans, and manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy
- Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care
- RRT certification (required to advance to a Level II)
- Current BLS Certification (required within 30 days of start date)
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date
- Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
