Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time/Overnight

About the role

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician’s orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct respiratory care to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate and recommend adjustments to therapy in consultation with physicians.
• Serve as a clinical resource for respiratory care to physicians and nursing staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state licensure requirements.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• For co-workers in the Emergency Room: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 10 lbs., and perform minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Critical care experience.

Pay

Sign-on bonus incentive up to $10,000.

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
