Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview Provides comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within hospital and department guidelines. Serves as a resource by applying advanced clinical expertise, ensuring patient safety through developmentally appropriate care, and adhering to quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Communicates effectively with healthcare teams through documentation and collaboration.Educates patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse learning styles.Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, applying clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze patient needs.Supports advanced clinical tasks such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation as needed.Maintains continuous learning, prioritizes tasks, and manages time efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; Bachelor's preferred.Licenses and certifications including Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS).No prior experience required; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
