Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

About the Role

Provides comprehensive respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established standards and guidelines.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient respiratory needs.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families, including documentation and handoffs.
• Educate patients, families, and staff about respiratory treatments and procedures.
• Apply advanced clinical skills such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current licensure and certifications including RRT or CRT, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Respiratory Care Practitioner credentials.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates may apply.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot clinical issues, and demonstrate critical care expertise.
