Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

About the role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care, including ABGs, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway management.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory treatments
• Interpret diagnostic procedures
• Assess patients
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment
• Ensure safety and infection control
• Utilize critical thinking and effective communication to enhance patient satisfaction
• Adapt care to diverse patient needs across age groups

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• NBRC registration
• At least 6 months of experience
• Must obtain NRP and PALS within one year of hire
