Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full-Time Nights

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in an acute care hospital environment. This role is essential for delivering compassionate patient care, utilizing advanced clinical expertise, and supporting the respiratory needs of inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards and guidelines
• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient respiratory needs
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team and documenting patient information
• Providing education on respiratory treatments to patients, families, and staff
• Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in critical care, including ventilator support, ECMO, and bronchoscopies
• Ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality standards

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Licenses and certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS
• Ability to perform multiple duties with effective time management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

Schedule

Full-time night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
