Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

About the Role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway management.

Responsibilities

• Conducts respiratory treatments such as oxygen administration, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics, interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data.
• Prepares treatment evaluations through physical assessments and patient interviews.
• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Ensures infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Utilizes critical thinking to make appropriate clinical decisions.
• Supports patient satisfaction through effective communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardio Life Support certifications.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform procedures on both adults and neonates.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity.
