Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

About the role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care, including ABG analysis, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutics
• Interpret diagnostic procedures
• Conduct physical assessments
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment
• Ensure infection control and safety standards
• Utilize critical thinking and interpret patient data such as CXR, ABG, and PFT results
• Assist in patient education to improve satisfaction
• Perform routine equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Licensed and registered as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP and PALS required within one year
• Minimum six months of respiratory care experience required

Skills

• Proficiency in respiratory assessment, treatment procedures, equipment operation, and data interpretation
• Ability to work under indirect supervision
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity
• Collaborate within a healthcare team
