Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Role Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to patients of all ages, including procedures such as ABG analysis, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and airway management. Key Responsibilities Perform respiratory therapeutics like oxygen administration, aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and mechanical ventilation.Conduct and interpret diagnostic procedures including ABGs, pulmonary function tests, pulse oximetry, and electrocardiograms.Assess patients through physical examination, interviews, and review of medical records to develop treatment plans.Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cardiopulmonary equipment such as ventilators, blood gas analyzers, and oxygen delivery devices.Participate in infection control, safety, and quality assurance activities.Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and work areas.Utilize effective communication to enhance patient satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and PALS must be obtained within one year of hire.Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.Minimum of 6 months of respiratory care experience.
