Role Overview

Provides comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Acts as a resource to the healthcare team by applying advanced clinical expertise, troubleshooting, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as mechanical ventilation, ECMO, bronchoscopy, and sleep studies. Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and families, offering education on treatments and procedures. Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning, time management, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• RRT certification
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support
