About the role
Full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating patient respiratory care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments
- Develop care plans
- Perform therapeutic modalities (e.g., aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, airway management)
- Manage mechanical ventilators
- Provide patient and family education
- Assist with intra-hospital transport
- Support emergency airway management
- Collaborate with medical teams
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- Assist with invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and hemodynamic measurements
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from a specialty training program with necessary competencies in respiratory care, evidence-based practice, and protocol adherence
- Ability to operate state-of-the-art equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
