Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on a diagnosis in the ICU, ER, and general floors.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans using decisive judgement.
• Maintain and communicate patient conditions to the team, performing advanced Respiratory Care procedures.
• Evaluate patient therapy and administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families about their health conditions.
• Respond to rapid responses and code blue situations.
• Work in a stressful environment and function with minimal supervision.
