Registered Respiratory Therapist

About the role

The Respiratory Therapists (RT) at Ball Memorial Hospital work closely with patients to evaluate and treat cardiopulmonary disorders. They collaborate with various entities including nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure patient satisfaction and support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to support patient care
• Work closely with patients to develop personalized therapies

Requirements

• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana
• Graduation from a CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program
• N.B.R.C. registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire date
• Healthcare Provider Certification
• Possession of ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification (preferred)
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR

Pay

Part Time (Benefit Eligible), Nights 2-12 hour shifts, per week, every 3rd weekend and holiday Night Shift Payrate Premium
