Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner, Full-time, Night Shift

The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic and critical respiratory care services.
- Works well without supervision as well as maintains supervision over others, as delegated.
- Provides respiratory care services for the adult and geriatric patient.
- Provides respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with current department policies concerning all phases of respiratory therapy.
- Completes paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred Master's Degree: Preferred Three years' technical experience: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential: Required in CA, OR, and HI State Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic (RT-P) license: Required in OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification: Preferred Registered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required State Respiratory Therapist (RCP/RRT): Required AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $35.37 to $53.01.
