Lead Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner | Full Time Regular | Night Shift

Responsibilities
- Leads the daily management and supervision of the respiratory care staff, both clinically and administratively.
- Performs clinical duties including patient assessment, ventilator management, diagnostic evaluation and other respiratory care as needed.
- Acts as an expert clinician who demonstrates a high level of knowledge/expertise, and is a leader/resource to the healthcare team.
- Recommends/coordinates scheduling of work assignments and daily priorities of staff.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): PreferredMaster's Degree: PreferredFive years' technical experience with specialized knowledge in PICC, Peds, and/or NICU: PreferredTwo years' leadership experience: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Respiratory Care Practitioner(RCP) license: Required in CACardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredPediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification: PreferredRegistered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care: RequiredRegistered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
