Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Sleep Lab - FT

About the role

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Sleep Lab Medical Director/Sleep Medicine Physician, and Sleep Lab Coordinator, and in accordance with an order from a physician, administer polysomnographies and related procedures to monitor, study, and analyze patients' sleep patterns.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
• New grad Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential verifiable with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 3 months of hire.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential verifiable with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) and/or the NBRC is preferable; must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Active Montana state Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Experience in a sleep lab preferable.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and solution oriented during periods of high stress and/or workload fluctuations.
