Responsibilities
- Functions under the Administrator of Professional Practice and in collaboration with the Nursing and Medical staff.
- Serves as a clinical resource and consultant for acute and rehabilitative patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
- Provides the full scope of WOC nursing practice, including education, counseling, research, and administration.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Current NYS RN license. BSN required; MS preferred.
- Minimum Experience: Two to four years of recent, relevant nursing experience.
- Required Certification/Registration: Current certification in wound care by WOCNCB (i.e., CWCN, CWON, or CWOCN).
- Physical Demands: Prolonged/frequent standing and walking. Ability to assist with patient lifting, moving, and repositioning for physical assessment.
- Working Conditions: Normal hospital environment. Potential exposure to body fluids. Contact with patients under a variety of circumstances.

The compensation range for the role is $56.58 - $62.71 hourly.
