Job Summary

The Registered Nurse administers individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri.

About the Role

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse provides care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Administer individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri.
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans accordingly.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding their care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved professional nursing program
  • BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri as a RN
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification (Required within 90 days for Pain Center, Electrodiagnostic, Center for Digestive Diseases, Radiology, Cardiac Rehab)

Pay

Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)

Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
