About the role

The Bloomington Wound Care Center focuses on treatment for complicated or non-healing wounds. The RN for this role is responsible for patient care, charting, and other clinical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care
  • Documents patient care in medical records
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Adheres to infection control protocols
  • Ensures patient safety and comfort

Requirements

  • Requires 1 year RN experience
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
