Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic as well as evaluate inpatient wounds.
• Communicate with physicians, charge nurse, and co-workers regarding changes in patient treatment and clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued Registered Nurse license.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).
• Wound Care Certification within the first year of hire.
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.

Schedule

• Part-time (less than 60 hours).
• Variable shift.
