Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team!

Responsibilities

  • Conducts and documents detailed physical exams
  • Evaluates and manages patients with wounds
  • Collaborates with providers and other medical personnel
  • Orders equipment/supplies
  • Works with the wound care team including physicians, physical therapists and other nurses
  • Edits patients and families about chronic wounds and maintains appropriate follow-up care
  • Manages in-patients as well as out-patients with complex wounds
  • Treats patients through clinical pathways
  • Fulfills standards of care and advanced clinical practice
  • Supports in-patient nurses on maintenance of skin integrity, prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and wounds

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware required
  • ASN required, BSN preferred, from an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 3 years' of clinical experience required, preferably in Wound Care
  • Wound Care certification preferred; will consider those with experience and able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
