Registered Nurse - Women's and Children's Resource Team - Nights

About the role

This nursing position involves providing professional care across pediatric and neonatal units at two hospitals, including Peds/PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN. The role requires critical assessment, planning, and delegation of patient care tasks, functioning as a team member to meet unit goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and monitor progress
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with state laws and hospital policies
• Delegate tasks appropriately to staff and collaborate within a team

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years of PICU and NICU experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• CPR certification, PALS, and NRP certifications (obtained within six months of employment)
