About the Role

The Postpartum Nurse educates and assists the new mother with her physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period. They perform the dual role of caring for the infants and educating mothers about their care.

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Scheduled weekly hours: 24

Requirements

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Required: Active RN license in the state of Missouri
• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• Must obtain NRP within one year of hire
