Registered Nurse - Weekender On-Call

About the role

The OR Circulator/PACU Registered Nurse position is an On-Call Weekender role at Stoughton Health.

Essential Functions

• Performs professional nursing care to patients in assigned units.
• Maintains accountability for own practice and delegates/provides direction to other nursing personnel.
• Enhances quality and effectiveness of nursing practices.
• Maintains knowledge and competency reflecting current nursing practices.
• Contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and others in conducting nursing practice.
• Integrates research findings into clinical practice.

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current license from the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Current BLS certification at hire, ACLS and PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar.
• Basic computer skills expected for this position, including email access, reference internal websites, electronic health records, and online learning tools.
• Beginning Microsoft Office Suite skills expected, including opening documents, changing fonts, saving documents, writing letters.
