Registered Nurse - Weekend Nights - NICU

About the Role

Provides specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU setting, focusing on family-centered care in a 35-bed unit with single rooms. Occasionally floats to Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive neonatal nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring for critically ill infants.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and clinical protocols, including neonatal resuscitation.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level III/IV NICU.
• Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification within six months of employment.
