About the Role
This position is in the OB Emergency Department located in Birmingham, AL.
Schedule
Weekend shift, Friday and Saturday night.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patient conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the primary caregiver.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and support discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days of hire or transfer.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
