Registered Nurse - Walk-In Clinic

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive outpatient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. They utilize nursing processes, technology, evidence-based practices, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards
• Obtain patient history, vital signs, and health information
• Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses
• Triage patients and execute treatments and protocols
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
• Document patient data and care accurately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid RN license and BLS/ACLS certification
• 1+ year of clinical or hospital nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and judgment skills
• Ability to operate medical equipment and document accurately
• Ability to assist with patient transfers
• Effective communication, sound judgment, professionalism, and positive patient interactions
• Manual dexterity and physical mobility for patient handling
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
