About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, following established policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Advocates for patients and their families
- Collaborates with healthcare teams
- Educates patients on health measures
- Demonstrates leadership and professionalism
- Applies evidence-based practices
- Ensures safety at all times
- Occasional patient handling, data entry, and driving may be required
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one to two years RN experience
- Current state RN license and BLS certification
- Physical ability to perform essential duties including lifting, standing, and communication
