Registered Nurse (Various Locations)

Summary Of Duties

Our Registered Nurses are responsible for all professional nursing duties as required. They enforce policies regarding the storage and inventory of sample medications, use of sharps containers, and medical waste management. They provide group and individual treatment, develop treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, and formulate a diagnostic impression. They adhere to basic standards of nursing in conjunction with all NYS licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents injection of medications.
• Affirms accuracy and completeness of all case notes.
• Maintains health screens annually for all program recipients.
• Maintains vital signs such as blood pressure, glucose, pulse, weight, etc.
• Develops assessments, treatment plans, and diagnostic reviews on determined schedule.
• Aids in linking individuals to other community resources.
• May supervise student interns.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school for professional nursing and four (4) years of paid work experience as a professional nurse and at least three (3) of which have been in a mental health setting.
• OR Bachelor's degree in professional nursing and at least one (1) year of paid work experience in a mental health setting and current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• A valid NYS drivers license.
• An automobile in good working order.
• Valid inspection and automobile insurance.
• Proof of insurance.

Pay

$60,000 to $63,000 per year (Exempt).

Schedule

Full-time, 35/37.5/40 hours per week.
