About the role

Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Assists with the orientation and training of new staff members.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitors patient progress and reports significant changes to the supervising nurse.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN Required
  • Registered nursing License (Required)
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • 18 months of relevant nursing experience

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Knowledge of infection control practices

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

36 hours per week, Third (Nights) Shift.
