Registered Nurse, Telemetry - Oncology Care Unit

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community within the Oncology Care Unit. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. The role involves functioning as an associate to a charge nurse and eventually assuming charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all aspects of care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education programs.

Requirements

• Current Hawai’i Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
• One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $53.17 - $70.89 USD per hour
