About the role

The registered nurse in the 9B-Cardiac Department is responsible for delivering safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training.

They must demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and a thorough understanding of departmental policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training.

• Apply basic skills to meet care standards.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• New RN graduate or registered nurse in good standing, licensed in Arkansas, with a preference for BSN.
• Certification requirements include healthcare CPR, with some areas requiring ACLS, PALS, or NALS training, which is provided.
• Specialty units offer specific education.

Qualifications

• Authorized for 72 hours bi-weekly.

• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
