Registered Nurse - Team Lead - Medical/Surgical

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Team Lead and Charge Nurse in a Medical-Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions
• Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge plans
• Recognize patient condition changes and intervene promptly for safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current valid RN license in the relevant state or multi-state license

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of medical-surgical or acute care experience

• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Leadership capabilities to function as a Charge Nurse
