Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

14-week assignment in Woodsville, NH starting ASAP. Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

About the Role

Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse position ideal for candidates with Telemetry experience. Must be flexible and capable of performing phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post-op general surgery patients (e.g., hernia repair, resections, cholecystectomy, occasional amputation—minimal orthopedic cases)
• Manage patients with diagnoses such as atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, COPD, alcohol withdrawal (CIWA protocol), and rule-out sepsis
• Float to Geri-Psych unit (Ray of Hope) as "Helping Hands" when needed—no prior behavioral health experience required

Requirements

• 2–3 years of RN experience
• Active RN license
• Telemetry experience preferred
