Key Responsibilities
- Cook up patient placement and staff assignments.
- Support nursing staff with patient care, workflow, and unit activities.
- Aid in staff orientation, education, and ongoing training.
- Oversee clinical operations and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, productivity, and resource management.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and operational needs.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe patient care environment.
- Perform direct patient care as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- B.S.N. preferred.
